This the 23rd day of August in the year 2017. A man of faith, power, and integrity went home to be with his Lord and Savior.
Left to mourn his loss is his devoted wife and Anchor, Dr. Patricia Anderson Wilson. His mother Marjorie C. Wilson. His beloved son, Matthew W. Wilson (Teresa). Beloved daughter April M. Gauldin (Wade). And his cherished grandchildren, Colton Wilson, Caleb Gauldin, and Lillian Gauldin. Also left behind was his one remaining sister, Rose Hite and numerous nephews, niece, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
There in heaven waiting are his late wife, Debra L. Wilson. Father, Willard C. Wilson, sister, Diane Wilson, and brother, Rickey.
Also waiting are his maternal and paternal grandparents.
What a glorious day for heaven yet what a sad day for those left behind.
We ask lord that you watch over this precious gentleman, this gentle giant.
The family will receive guests on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 1 pm at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem, VA.
Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem.
