PHYLLIS MARIE GEARHEART

Phyllis Marie Gearheart, 85, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.  She was born and raised August 13, 1932 in Salem. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Flinchum Thompson; her beloved husband of 64 years, Charles L. Gearheart, Sr. and her sisters, Ethel (Kaka) and Mildred (Sis).

Surviving are a son, Charles (Chuck) Jr. and his wife, Jennifer Gearheart; daughters, Diana M. Gearheart , Kathy and Steve Smith, grandchildren, Chris, Jake, Matt, and Travis, great grandchildren, Ethan, Micah and Caleb.

She loved the color purple, going to Charlestown and going camping. 

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Lotz Salem Chapel.  The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. 

The family would like to thank Brandon Oaks for their wonderful care of their beloved Mom.
