Jacqueline J. Simpson

Jacqueline J. (Cookie) Simpson, 76, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017. She retired from Blue Ridge Beverage. Preceded in death by her father, Russell J. Jeffries; husband, Charles Ray Simpson; daughter, Patricia Ann Cantrell; brothers, William Ligon, Jr, Russell Jeffries.

Surviving family includes her mother, Tempie Ligon; son, Sam Fuller and Wanda; daughter, Cindy L. Bolick; sisters, Alice Correll, Tina Ligon; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; step daughter, Barbara Simpson Canady and Ron; step son, Charles Ray Simpson, Jr. and Joann T. Simpson; 4 step grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Also, thanks to Good Samaritan caregivers, Mary, Monica and Angela.

Funeral service will be Saturday, July 22, 2017 at noon at Lotz Salem Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home
Salem.
