JEFFERY EVAN LAROCCO

Jeffery Evan LaRocco, 61 of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home. Jeffery was born on November 24, 1955 in Schectady, New York. He was the son of the late James Francis LaRocco and the late Jennie Alice Signor LaRocco.
Jeff is survived by his brothers and their families: James John LaRocco and wife Sharon, nephew, Francis Tyler LaRocco, and niece, Meleah L. Lowe;
Brother, Joseph Charles LaRocco and wife Terry, nieces, Jacqueline M. Downs and Catherine LaRocco; Brother, John Anthony LaRocco.
Known as “Rocky” to his many friends. He graduated from Andrew Lewis in 1973, and worked for General Electric.
He will be fondly remembered for his playing percussion instruments in high school and in many local bands.
A Gathering of friends of family celebrating Jeff’s life will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem. This will be followed by a prayer service at 4 pm in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials and contributions may be made to your favorite animal charity.
