Glenn Daugherty

Glenn Alan Daugherty, 66, of Salem, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024.  Glenn is survived by his brother, Wayne Daugherty and his wife, Brenda; his sister, Peggy Wertz and her husband, Ferman; Special Friend Ann Weeks; Bryson Weeks and Victoria Caldwell, who Glenn has always loved as if they were his own grandchildren. 

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, David and Hilda Daugherty; his sister, Frances Daugherty Harris Gaylor; and his brothers, Benny and Davey Daugherty.

Glenn loved “everyone” and was loved by so many.  He will be remembered for his beautiful voice.  He loved to sing from the time he was a little boy; he sang in Church as he was growing up and with his friends every chance he got.  He loved to cook and would feed anyone that dropped in to see him.  He loved “giving” even when he didn’t have the means to do it.  He will be missed.    

His family will receive friends from 2 to 4PM on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Lotz Funeral Home & Crematory in Salem, VA.
