Cecelia Jane Pruitt

Cecelia Jane Pruitt passed away on April 24, 2024, the beloved mother of six children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Pruitt and granddaughter, Cassandra Howell.

A native of Virginia she was the daughter of Jessie and Allie Minnix, both deceased. She retired from Sam’s Club.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, William (Bill) Pruitt and his wife Carrie, Brenda Hawks and her husband Doug, Nathan Pruitt, Angela Estill and her husband Alan, Matthew Pruitt and wife Josie, and Kimberley Walls and Jimmy Dean; her grandchildren, Cristina Eberstein, Andrew Pruitt, Jonathan Pruitt, Kelly Combs, Brian Hawks, Brittany Combs, Zack Wray, Chelsea Wray, Robert Hawks, Allen Pruitt, Zeth Robertson, Alex Pruitt, and Sophia Pruitt; twenty four great grandchildren; and loved ones, Erica Dickson and son Keyan Bailey.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Greg Irby officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
